Raising Awareness
Raising awareness of Caravan amongst both existing and future supporters, as well as amongst potential beneficiaries is absolutely fundamental to the work of the charity.

Therefore, companies that help Caravan to achieve that goal will have their effort acknowledged and rewarded by an Achievement Award. One of the simplest ways in which you can help is by filling in the Caravan Annual Survey, which enables the charity to identify how best it can support the industry, and where it can make improvements.
By taking part in its Awareness Month, an annual campaign which aims to increase awareness of Caravan within the grocery industry, you will also be helping to spread the word. You can do this by either advertising in the trade press or by featuring the initiative on your company web or intranet site.
Project Wanted is a scheme which aims to increase the number of Caravan’s beneficiaries by asking shop floor and factory workers if they know of anyone who may be eligible for Caravan’s assistance. Any support with Project Wanted counts towards an Achievement Award.
Caravan also works to educate grocery industry workers about the importance of good financial planning from an early stage in their careers, therefore helping them to avoid falling on hard times later in life. You can support this initiative by enabling Caravan to visit your premises and deliver a short Financial Services Authority approved seminar to staff on the importance of making financial provision for retirement.
If you can assist in all four areas above you will qualify as best in class in this category!
