When you're selling on eBay you can donate a proportion of your profits to Caravan and help us to help those in need.
How it Works
When you use eBay for Charity you decide exactly what percentage of your final selling price you'd like to give to Caravan.
Three easy steps to use eBay for Charity:
- Once you're ready to sell your item, go to the Sell hub and select 'Advanced Sell'
- As you're filling out the details, look out for the charity box just below where you set your price. Select 'Caravan' as the charity to support and the percentage (10%-100%) of your final sellling price that you'd like to donate. NB. The minimum donation is £1 per listing
- Three weeks after your item sells, MissionFish (eBay's charity partner) will automatically collect the donation from you. If you select Gift Aid the taxman will add 25% to your donation
You can also manage your donations through the 'My Donations' section of 'My eBay', under the 'My Account' tab. When using eBay for Charity, eBay will credit back your basic insertion and final value fees (equal to the percentage you donate). Any fee credits will appear on your next invoice.
It's Seen by Everyone
eBay for Charity listings are the same as any other eBay listing, except for the blue and yellow eBay for Charity ribbon 
in search results, along with Caravan's mission statement and logo in your listing. This means your listing can be seen by everyone who searches through eBay.co.uk and it will get extra visibility through the eBay for Charity pages.
It's the perfect way to make a difference - while doing what you do every day on eBay.
Donate without Selling
You can also make a donation via PayPal to Caravan using eBay for Charity:
- Search for Caravan using the 'Find your favourite charity' button on the eBay for Charity homepage
- Visit the Caravan page on eBay by clicking on the 'View' button
- Select the 'Donate Now' tab
