HJ Heinz Wash Up for Caravan

HJ Heinz Caravan Awareness WeekHJ Heinz recently held a series of events from 16th to 22nd June 2011 to raise awareness of Caravan within the Head Office at Hayes Park. The week featured a car wash available to all employees as well as the selling and distribution of 'Social Cakes' and culminated with a Caravan BBQ on the final day.

The awareness week was supported through various different channels at Heinz car wash for CaravanHeinz including promotion through the company's weekly email bulletin, internal digital screens and social networks. This was achieved through creating a "What's Going On" group which enabled the Head Office staff to be kept up-to-date with progress through captions and pictures taken during the activities. Flyers were also delivered to every desk and Caravan stands were on show in all meeting rooms. Caravan Banners, flags, t-shirts and pens were also used to great effect to highlight activities.

By the end of the week at least 99% of staff had seen, heard or taken part in a Caravan awareness activity. This first wave of activity was aimed specifically at introducing Caravan into the rhetoric of Heinz employees and has created a strong foundation on which further activities can build. This awareness will be driven further with future events such as a 'Money Can't Buy' silent auction, 'How many beans in a jar' competition, a Hayes Park company photograph, a Caravan slot at a company meeting and Caravan images sent to all company computers for a day.
