The winners of the fourth year of the Caravan Achievement Awards were announced at the Olympians Luncheon held recently at the Hilton on Park Lane, London, on 4th November 2011. A full list of the companies and their awards can be found on the 2011 Achievement Awards page.
The awards are our way of giving public recognition to companies, large or small, who actively support the charity in both ordinary and extraordinary ways. Any company involved in our industry is eligible, whether a manufacturer, distributor, supplier or retailer, large or small, a previous supporter or not.
It's not just about the money - it's about commitment as well. But raising funds for the future is of paramount importance. It's the ultimate bottom line. Without cash in hand, we cannot help the very people who desperately need our support.
Companies who achieve the highest accolade, the Gold Award, participate in the key five criteria: work on our central committees; work on our branches; take part in our events; make a corporate donation; and take four steps to help others, for example raise awareness and participate in our welfare work.
The fifth year of the Caravan Achievement Awards is now underway - the judging period runs from 1 September 2011 to 31 August 2012. We will announce the Gold, Silver, Bronze and Certificate recipients at the Annual Luncheon on 2 November 2012.
