Have A Heart for Caravan

Have A Heart for CaravanOn Monday 14th February Kimberly-Clark UK consumer and Waitrose piloted a charity awareness day for Caravan to highlight the charity and its work to their employees. The aim of the day was to drive mass awareness of Caravan throughout organisations who work within retailers or supply the grocery industry. We are very pleased to report that the day was warmly welcomed at Kimberly-Clark and at Waitrose.

As it was Valentine's Day the theme was to "Have a Heart for Caravan." Employees were invited to learn more about Caravan through presentations, video and competitions. In return for "having a heart" for Caravan, those who participated at Kimberly-Clark were allowed to leave work early and share their heart with their loved ones.

At the Waitrose Head Office in Bracknell, many employees wore jeans to show their support for Caravan. There was also a cake stall and stand in the foyer with information about the grocery industry charity and its work.

Companies who took part in the awareness day could choose their own reward to offer, for example a casual clothes day.
