The branch recently held its first meeting at which it was agreed that the Chairman of the Wessex branch will be Stefan Kerwin (J Sainsburys), the Secretary will be Helen Davies (Warburtons) and the Treasurer will be Peter Bailey (eXPD8).

Stefan Kerwin, Chairman comments; “The Wessex branch of Caravan has exciting plans to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the charity in this region. If you are interested in helping to make a difference to those in need in the grocery industry then please contact Stefan.Kerwin@sainsburys.co.uk

The Wessex branch is planning a variety of events for the area, the first of which is a Spring Ball in March 2012. If you would like information on the Spring Ball please contact Paul Broad on Manager.MidsomerNorton@sainsburys.co.uk

Caravan currently has eight active branches throughout the UK, who are vital in promoting the role of the Charity locally. All branches are staffed by industry volunteers and together raise as much regionally as we do centrally. They organise various fundraising days including golf days, clay pigeon, go-karting, dinners and balls in the aim to spread the good work of Caravan.

If you would like to hear more about the work of Caravan branches, or are interested in joining one of the regional branches, please contact Caravan on info@caravan-charity.org.uk or call 01252 875925.
