The Assessors Conference will be held on 9th-10th May 2012 at Ardencote Manor, Claverdon, near Warwick
Every Welfare Assessor is invited to the annual Conference. During the two days they have the opportunity to discuss matters with the Caravan team, receive updates, further training and chat to other Assessors. Guest speakers, on topics relevant to our work, are also invited to come along and update the group.
In 2011 visitors to the conference heard about changes to various benefits and grants, there were also speakers and information stands on selected topics. For example, Paddy Millard MBE provided useful information on 'TaxHelp for Older People' and Steve Thomson from Age UK gave the group an insight into how the charity can be of assistance in various areas.
