Walk of FameChester 'Hollywood' Ball a superb evening...
250 guests enjoyed a 'superb' evening at the Annual Chester Ball sponsored by Vion Foods. The theme was Hollywood and one lucky couple took away a seven night trip to Hollywood provided by The Co-operative Travel in the Grand Raffle, which was also sponsored by Vion Foods.

The way in which the prize draw was carried out, resulted in a guest from every table up on stage in with a chance to win the Hollywood Trip. The elimination process began with a fun game and the whole room was cheering for a guest from their table to win. The room stood to cheer the winner, who was announced under a flow of streamers and pyrotechnics. It was a very emotional moment.

Chester Hollywood BallThe event was non-stop fun packed entertainment with audience participation games, such as a Hollywood trivia quiz and a film 'charades' game. All participants took away a bottle of bubbly and chocolates. Entertainment was provided by a Party Band 'The Coolers' for those who had any energy left after the fun and games.

Andy Ashworth from Red Alligator was the MC for the event and also created all the theming and production, which year on year is growing from strength to strength. The event raised an amazing £51,000, a fantastic increase on the £42,000 raised in 2009.

With many guests saying "it was the best event ever, try and top that next year," event organisers June Ghilene and Martin Hulse are now working on the difficult task of coming up with ideas on how to improve the event for next year!
