Variety Performance Gala Ball 2011
On 8th October 2011 300 guests from the Grocery industry enjoyed a fabulous evening at the Manchester Hilton hotel, being entertained by a variety of seven acts including Signature from Britain's Got Talent and a special performance by celebrity Antony Costa, singer-songwriter, actor and member of the boy band Blue. Antony has starred in many TV shows including 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' He toured with Boogie Nights, took the lead role in Blood Brothers and has been a model for Armani! Last year the band that reformed in 2009 represented the UK in Eurovision and he performed for us Live at our Northern Branch Caravan event.

All auction lots and raffle prizes were donated by suppliers who attended the event, with two Olympic tickets going for a winning bid of £2,250! The star prize in the raffle was a holiday worth £2,000 with a guest from every table in with a chance of winning the holiday from an envelope draw game. The guests then went through elimination rounds of the famous 'Red & Black' roulette game featured recently on TV and the winner was on 'Red'. The evening continued with a show of exploding pyrotechnics and dancing into the early hours to party band Atlanta Soul.

The event raised in excess of £35,000 for Caravan. Photographs and a DVD of the evening can be seen at http://www.redalligatorgroup.com/

Details for next year, including a booking form, can be found on the Events Calendar or by clicking Variety Performance Gala Ball below. Book early to avoid disappointment as next year will be bigger and better!!
